Rustic
Walnut
Black Walnut grown in the north central states produces lumber with light to chocolate brown heartwood and creamy white sapwood that is steamed in one of our own steam chambers to naturally darken and age the sapwood.
Black Walnut has deep, warm tones, and a swirling, elegant grain. It is used in both rustic and formal settings and is often contrasted
with a lighter colored wood.
Black Walnut is flat sawn and appears both straight-grained and often with a swirling "curly" figure.
It is primarily used for flooring, furniture, architectural millwork, gun-stock, and trophy bases.

Red Oak
Blond Gold Wheat
Due to the long cold winters,
rich soil, and short growing seasons, our Red Oak from Northern Wisconsin is prized for
its consistent color and fine texture that is produced from old growth
and slow growing timber.
Features of Red Oak are: Light blond, wheat and pink heartwood colors; classic look, warm and traditional; northern Red Oak is
flat sawn and appears with straight and cathedral open grain patterns; rift and quarter sawn are also available upon request.

Rustic
Hickory
Northern Hickory, also known as true Hickory, is preferred to pecan hickory (fruit/nut bearing) from
the South, due to a much higher percentage of the rich shades of brown and dramatic grain found
in the heartwood. The cold winters and short growing seasons
limit the white sapwood.
Hickory provides a "calico" color appearance with each board containing reddish-brown
heartwood and white sapwood.
It boasts a resilient surface because of its hardness and durability. Northern Hickory is flat sawn and appears with fine grain that can be straight, wavy, or irregular.
Sapwood only and heartwood only products are also available
upon request.
Hickory, the heaviest and hardest
American hardwood, is primarily used for flooring, hammer and
axe handles, drum sticks,
furniture, and cabinetry.
